A custom mirror-polished stainless-steel vent hood presides over the kitchen, with Calacatta marble countertops.
A custom oxidized-maple table and ceramics by Tyler Hays furnish the dining room, separated from the foyer via custom screens in glass and blackened stainless steel by French artisan Christophe Cóme.
The solid-surfacing soaking tub in the master bath rests beside marble-mosaic flooring; the hide-wrapped Louis XVI–style bench is custom.
 A pair of Richard Serra etchings rests on the living room’s limestone mantle; the fireplace surround is carved marble.
 The wool-upholstered sofa and glass-top coffee tables Adjacent to the kitchen, the family room features an oil and fabric on canvas by SoHyun Bae; a Rodolfo Dordoni sofa joins custom fur-wrapped benches.  Salvaged centuries-old farmhouse beams complement the kitchen’s oak-and-steel cabinetry and island topped in end-grain white oak; the backsplash is honed Calacatta marble  A French Restoration–period gueridon resides in the oak-paneled library.  The ground-floor guest bedroom features an iron canopy bed and a wingback chair dressed in linen-flax
In the living area, a Francesco Binfaré sofa is paired with Draga & Aurel chairs and a Paola Navone stool.
The floor is distressed French oak; the kitchen’s marble counter is only a half-inch thick, but its mitered edge makes it look massive.
In the master bedroom, a Rodolfo Dordoni side table cozies up to a Carlo Mollino chair.
It rests on a wool rug in the master bedroom, whose linen curtain can be drawn the length of the room for privacy. 
In one of the kids’ rooms, a Jean Marie Massaud chair pulls up to a custom concrete-and-resin counter
